Lots of seating indoors. Welcoming staff. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us regularly. By far, this is the best fried chicken I have ever had. The skin is crispy, and the meat is cooked perfectly. The seasoning in the chicken is mouthwatering.

Quick service. Courteous servers which is always a plus. THE FOOD!!!!! I am glad I didn't let parking turn me away. I am a white meat fan. I usually keep away from the dark meat unless the texture is right. This visit I had a taste of everything except the wings and I regret that. The chicken was amazing. Flavor went all the way to the bone. The skin had its own individual flavor which made the full bite amazing. The fried green tomatoes were also delicious. I wish they had one out by me. The music was mellow and low in volume. A must try.

The food is amazing. The chicken is juicy and is always served hot. The fried okra is my favorite. I was able to taste the coconut pie, which is now going to be added to my list every time I go. Besides the food, the service is amazing. I didn't catch his name, but the Mexican gentleman who is the waiter is amazing. He is always attentive and checking on the guest to see if anything is needed. He is very personable and takes the time to actually have conversations with the guest and make them feel welcome. It was a pleasure to interact and speak with him while. The owners of this establishment should be proud to have somebody who is providing such exemplary service. The ambience is laid-back and definitely worth giving this place a try. I have been going for years and I am glad they weathered the storm through Covid because so many good restaurants have gone by the wayside.

Some of the best fried chicken in Los Angeles, hands-down. Also, some of the best mac & cheese that I've ever had! They have two locations, this one and another up in Burbank. As you might guess they are famous for their chicken both fried and tenders. They have a ton of great side options to choose from, as well as, delicious sweet tea and desserts. Inside was a lot larger than I was expecting, they have many different sized tables that can host many differentsized groups. Our server was extremely polite and super fast with the drink refills and checking in on us. They have a small free parking lot behind the restaurant, but it was filled with some bad parkers, so I had to find a space on the street, which I was able to do for 6PM Sunday dinner. The chicken is very crispy, but seasoned perfectly and was juicy as it could be. I chose the 3 Piece White Meal which is 2 breasts and 1 wing with baked beans and cole slaw on the side. I also added a side of the Mac N Cheese which was amazing, some of the best I have had in a long time. We also started the meal with Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Pickles and both were addictingly good. An all-around great spot to have a comfort food meal. The chicken is better than I expected and honestly, I wish I could eat this place all the time. I will definitely be back in the near future because a delicious chicken spot is hard to find.

Always service with a smile. Quick. The chicken is moist and well seasoned (a lil kick) and crispy!!! I really like the potato salad and fried okra too. I have not dined in, but the place is really cute, clean. Good for groups, counter seating available. Free beer selection. And thank you for being reasonably priced! Great for takeaway and large trays.

If you're into fried chicken, then this is your place for you. Crispy, spicy, fresh and delicious are just some of the best descriptions of this chicken. The service was super friendly and make you want to come back. Great clean environment in the hood. You know you're in the hood when they sell 40oz Budweiser. The parking however, is not so customer friendly, street parking only.

Pretty good! I won a $100 gift card here from laoceats IG so we made the drive up to partake. I had the 3 piece tender with mac and cheese and fries plus ranch and honey mustard. My son had the half chicken with baked beans and mac. Hubby had chicken also with potato salad and beans. We also each had a piece of the chess pie I ended up with 4 tender, not sure if I got extra or they heard me wrong. I enjoyed the chicken. It had good flavor and crunch without being too greasy. The Mac and cheese was ok. I was fine with it but my husband didn't care for it. It was pretty watery and the images made it look like it had a crunch on top but it was just seasoning. It reminds me of a better cafeteria mac. The fries were great. I'm pretty particular on a type of fry I like and don't like and these were the good ones. Potato salad was really good. Had egg in it? Guys liked their chicken and beans. I'm not a fan of beans so I can't comment. We're from California so I still think white bread being served with this type of meal weird but I ate it. The ranch was really great and the honey mustard was pretty strong on the mustard flavor but not in a bad way. Chess pie might have been better than I was expecting. Highly recommend that. Would I ever come back? Doubt it since I don't live in the area but worth a try if you are

The service was fast and great. I ordered the 3-piece dark meat plate with Mac & cheese and potato salad. Potato salad: creamy and delicious! It had a hint of sweet that I believe may have been a bit of molasses? Mac & cheese: the best Mac I have had at a fried chicken spot in forever. It's the macaroni cheese you remember from your childhood. I love Mac that isn't wet and this is a thick Mac where the cheese isn't overpowering but perfectly mixed. Chicken: perfect crispy skin and a juicy center. Had I known it was so juicy all the way through I would have tried the chicken breast. It's a spicy! Be prepared with a drink. The best fried chicken in LA and it's only beat out by Pitty Pat's Front Porch in Atlanta, GA by a little bit.
